Certain Dri: It’s not just for the super sweaty anymore.
Let me start by saying this is my volunteered opinion, as if you wanted to know one of my secrets but were too polite to ask. I do not get paid or sponsored to share these things with you, though I would welcome it in a heartbeat!
About 5 years ago, I was sarcastically complaining to a girlfriend of mine about those chalky white stick deodorant marks on my sleeveless tops & dresses. Might I add that deodorant in general loses its odor protection potency about ¾ the way through the day. Let’s face it, we all need an anti-perspirant deodorant not just for sweat, but anytime we can gain aromatic confidence, we’ve got it made.
I’m not a particularly overly sweaty person but I am a bit skittish and insecure. When I get nervous to any degree, like public speaking, not only do my ears get hot but I start nervously sweating. It’s so high school I know. Then comes the worry that I’ll get pit stains and then everyone will know I’m nervous and find out that I’m really a Chihuahua, which sets off an endless loop chain reaction of nervous-sweat-nervous-more sweat-and-everyone-is-looking-at-me-sweat!
Until 5 years ago, Lady Mitchum roll-on was the best working anti-perspirant deodorant overall in my book. I hate waiting for roll-on to dry but you could actually “skip a day” as advertised without too much concern. I tried them all from stick to spray to roll-on. Degree and Secret proved to be close second’s, but I digress…this is different.
I’m here to tell you I found a simple product that changed my life. Seriously. Girls talk and it’s not always about guys thank God. My good friend recommended this to me and I am recommending it to you. You don’t have to diagnose yourself with some special condition to force yourself to try something new here. Certain-Dri is found in any store you find deodorants and no one will look at you funny if you buy it. I’ve only had one cashier ask me “does this stuff really work?” and I said ‘no, that’s why I’m buying it.’
It was a little strange at first, goes on like water. You put it on at bedtime believe it or not, just as the instructions say. You shower the next morning and it doesn’t affect its strength. Reason being, this is the only product out there that uses a chemical reaction to fight odor and wetness because it contains 12% aluminum chloride which is found in all deodorants, so until now you’ve been paying for a pore clogging wax with only a fraction of this chemical. I might grow a unicorn horn on my head but it probably won’t be due to too much aluminum chloride in my armpits.
Okay, I’m living proof, it has not killed or injured me let alone called me any names to date. There are no adverse side effects if you follow their simple product directions. I actually apply a little every night however it’s recommended “every few days.” Do not apply twice in a row without a shower in between, as this can give you a little rash due to the chemical content. Nothing Gold Bond can’t take care of but it can be uncomfortable. It just essentially keeps your pits from sweating so no perfumy chemicals needed and therefore no chalky wax to keep it stuck to your skin...so simple.
How did it change my life? I kid you not, it did. I raise my arms with full confidence that I do not feel sticky or stinky at any time of the day or night. I’m almost Thirty-Thirteen so I get night sweats now and I do a lot of yard work in the Summer time which are true tests for this product. Sure, I still sweat elsewhere on my body like a normal goddess but I’m a lot more comfortable these days. You have to experience this freedom for yourself therefore I am prescribing you one box of Certain-Dri to try for one week.
